1. How many siblings do you have? Four. Two younger. Two older.

2. What is your favorite candy bar? Milky Way, but I only eat the outer chocolate layer, not the stuff on the inside.

3. In books, what kind of heroes do you like? I like heroes with a heart. Flawed. Seriously flawed. Confident, but not conceited. A lil' arrogant, though. Alpha all the way! Must dress nice and have a good appearance.

4. What makes you laugh? A good, funny movie. Kevin Hart. Katt Williams. Seinfeld. Any movie with Will Ferrell in it. And also, when I hear someone else laughing uncontrollably.

5. Tea or coffee? Coffee! It's every writer's survival serum. I can't get enough of the stuff.

6. What would you like to teach others? If I had the time, I'd teach others how to write and publish their own books.

7. What are three adjectives which describe you? Silly, smart & loyal.

8. Best Vacation: Mahogany Bay, Isla Roatan 2016

9. What were your favorite subjects in school? Math and English. And yes, I was that nerdy! Math because I like to solve things. English because I love literature.

10. When you have an hour of free time, what do you like to do? LOL! Free time...what’s that? Actually, I love running so I may do an hour of that.

11. Do you like to dance? Yes, but usually once I start, I can’t stop.

12. What is your favorite season and why? Fall is my favorite. I’m a walker/runner and it’s the perfect weather to be outside. I LOVE being outside just as much as I love writing.

13. What is your best physical feature? I’ve been told it’s my eyes, but I usually keep them hidden behind a pair of sunglasses, not because I'm trying to be cool...I just can't stand a lot of bright light.

14. Who is your favorite actor? Daniel Sunjata. Talented and super handsome. Loved his character in Rescue Me, Graceland and the movie, Gone.

15. What dessert do you order most often? The chocolate chipper cookie from Panera Bread.

16. Which would you prefer as a second home: Mountain cabin, beach house or big city condo? A mountain cabin in the winter where I can drink coffee next to the fireplace, write and watch the snow fall via floor-to-ceiling windows.

17. What are some of your favorite quotes?
  • “Don't base your decisions on the advice of those who don't have to live with the results.”
  • “Never love anybody who treats you like you're ordinary.”
  • “If you're trying to be normal, you'll never know how amazing you can be.”
  • “When people show you who they are, believe them.”

18. What advice would you give to aspiring writers? Read. Read a lot.
