Tina Martin grew up in a small town in Eastern North Carolina and is the middle child of five children. She graduated from Roanoke-Chowan Community College in 2001 with an Associate's Degree in Office Systems Technology and a certification in Accounting. She worked in the medical, printing and manufacturing fields with job titles such as purchasing assistant, medical billing specialist, financial associate and sales accountant.
While working in the corporate world wasn't a bad thing, it wasn't particularly her dream. She wanted to be a writer, and had always dreamed about doing so when she wrote her first poem, A Love So Extraordinary right out of high school. While working full-time corporate jobs, she worked at night to make her dreams a reality, penning her first novel, Secrets On Lake Drive, published in 2007.
In 2013, Tina fulfilled her dream of becoming a full-time fiction novelist. She independently publishes her own books, which includes forty novels, novellas and short stories. Readers praise Tina for her beautifully worded stories with flawed characters, strong heroes and strong-willed, sweet heroines as she relays their delicate love journeys in the romantic suspense and contemporary romance genres. Readers also express their gratitude for the way she writes tasteful romantic scenes that are well-worded, decent and classy. Her work is also free of vulgar language.
When she's not writing, Tina enjoys reading, traveling (she's also the chief editor of her own travel blog) and cooking while experimenting with different foods. Additionally, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two young children while exploring Charlotte, North Carolina where she currently resides.
She released her newest novel, The Things Everson Lost on March 10, 2017 and a short story, What Wifey Wants on February 3, 2017. She is currently working on Book 1 of a new series, due for release April 2017.
